For our first Photoshop exercise, we were to edit ourselves into the Hearst Mansion.

EXERCISE 2 (Match Colour)
09/04/19 (Week 2)
Skillset obtained:
  • Adding Layer Mask
  • Selective masking
  • Brush masking
  • Creating Smart Object
  • Rasterizing Image (To revert to layer)
  • Blending Modes (Shift +)
  • Cycling through blending mode with the keyboard
  • Invert mask (image > adjustments)
  • Gradient Tool
For the second exercise, we were to use the following pictures to make a realistic looking ghost house.

The second part of the exercise was replacing the background sky of an image with another sky picture.

EXERCISE 3 (Image Colouring)
16/04/19 (Week 3)
Skillset obtained:
  • Recolour
  • Hue/Saturation (Command + U)
  • Blending modes (Shift +), [soft light]
  • Pen tool
  • Blur tool
  • Selective masking (command + click the layer boxes)
  • Vector tool
I was unable to retrieve the files for this exercise, however all that we did was recolour an image that was originally in black and white. 

EXERCISE 4 (Playing with Texture)
23/04/19 (Week 4)
Skillset obtained:
  • Blending Modes
  • Smart Object/Filter
  • Displacement
For the fourth exercise, we were given images to add 'texture' on through displacement and blending features.

EXERCISE 5 (Castle of Pyneness)
30/04/19 (Week 5)

For our final exercise, we were to combine all the skillsets obtained from the previous weeks in order to recreate an image similar to one we were given.
