Project 1: Photo Manipulation

For this project, we had to choose images that were either taken by ourselves or stock photos to produce a surrealistic photo. 

I had chosen a photo of myself looking out of a balcony towards a city view, and images of a blue galaxy and planets to accompany it. I combined them to create an image with a story that proposes that on another planet, people are able to observe the city and the rest of the universe all from their own balcony. A key point would be planet Earth in the distance, meaning that the person in the image, is obviously on another planet.

We then had to animate our final image in After Effects. I decided to add stars onto the galaxy background, and opted for one shooting star and a bunch of twinkling stars across it.
